The Wagon Wheels today are at least a 1/3 of the size now! The lemon sherbet's use to make me sneeze a lot! But I still enjoyed them.

I remember it well, the only aircraft that would stop people in their tracks and make them look up into the sky. :)
I only knew one person that flew in it, and they said it was unbelievable. I wonder if there is anyone on site who was lucky enough to have flown in it also. :?: Concorde made its last-ever flight on Nov. 26, 2003, departing London's Heathrow Airport and landing in Bristol, England.

I saw a prototype Concorde at the Royal Aircraft Establishment being stress tested. It was strapped down with hydraulic rams flexing the wings up and down. Strangely sad sight, look like a trapped bird.

That was my first job every Saturday, take the accumulator over to Standivans the cycle shop to have it recharged. It supplied the radio valves heater. He also supplied the grid-bias and the high tension batteries for the radio.
