A little way from our area being Waterloo though still SE1. Roupell Street still looks like and reminds me of the 1950s,hence the post.
Mr Selfridge, Call the Midwife and Doctor Who, have all had episodes filmed here; whilst parts of the recent Kray Twins' biopic Legend, starring Tom Hardy, was filmed in Roupell Street.

Not our area but a little bit of information on Phoebe.During the early part of the 1900s, a lady called Phoebe started a small floristry business in Catford,from a small shop in Sangley Road.

In Kiwi's above [post is a reference to Phoebe's store in 1968. Below is a pic from 1950 so business looks to have taken an uptick from 1950 to 1968. Also a pic of the current 24 Roupell which you can see is next to the Kings Arms. Nothing stays the same.

The Kings Arms opened in 1839, so close to its 200 year old anniversary. Below is a pic from 1976 and another from today
