Deacon Street ran between Walworth Road & Gurney Street, Elephant & Castle.
Deacon St, Ash St & Gurney Street all disappeared when the Heygate Estate was built (1971-1974).

St Georges Road, Elephant & Castle, Fountain Pub..jpg
Fountain pub, Marshall Street (right). Pub closed in 1955, pub and street are no longer there. It would have been in-between Garden Row and Gayward Street.
