For clarity - the identification of the location was by me - I didn't take the photo!

Family eating a meal outside the broken shell of Sayer Street School. Sayer Street was off New Kent Road near the railway bridge, it no longer exists.

I was wondering if there are any photos at all of Spa Mansions, please. Both my grandmother and father were born there and their first flat became inhabitable following bombing in October 1940. They moved to another part of the building but had barely moved in when they were bombed out again on 10 May 1941. They lost everything as there was no water for the fireman to put the fire out. I have a copy of the architects drawings but would dearly love to see a photo.
