SERGEANT LEONARD BROWN, BERMONDSEY.

Sergeant Leonard Brown was a Flight Engineer with the 57 Squadron, East Kirkby, flying in a Lancaster Bomber and Son off William Charles and Ellen Brown of Bermondsey London.
Born in 1923 Sergeant Brown lived in Bermondsey with his parents and a younger brother, Victor.
Sadly, another brave young man aged only 20 years who lost his life on the 2nd December 1943, when his plane failed to return home.
