Nelson family, Parker's Row 1930s

Postby fredwnelson » Fri Oct 08, 2021 3:32 pm

My Dad and Uncle (Fred and Terry Nelson) lived in Parkers Row in the 1930s having moved from Southwark in the early 30s

At 39 or 53 Parker's Row my grandparents ran a pie shop. Their names were Arthur and Anastasia Nelson

Perhaps your parents/grandparents mentioned going into a shop/cafe that sold pies before WW2

My uncle Terry dies on this day (8th October 2020) one year ago. He was 93 years old and always recalled living in Bermondsey with much affection

Thanks for reading, Fred Nelson (grandson of Arthur and Anastasia)
