- 1950s
I can remember road works in Pages Walk, (1950s) just by Willow Walk and the Vic pub; I think they were doing the pavement and road works on the Vic side, so one side you could go through with the car. So’ when the night watchman was asleep we decided that it would be quite funny to move the small lights or cones, I cannot remember which, and send everyone coming down Pages Walk from Grange Road, left down Willow Walk, towards the Dun Cow, which we did. We thought it was funny,
come on we were only little.
