George VI Pub was at the far end left on the corner of East Street and Dawes Street.
- East Street, louise House left c1973. Orb Street first left, far end left Dawes Street.
- East Street, same location 2022. Louise House was on the left, Orb Street end of park left.

Girls Life Brigade at Richmond Street Mission (now East Street Baptist Church). Daisy Wilson, back row 4th from the left, was born in 1908, so possibly the 1920s.

I can’t remember where the shop was, but I think Barry had a brother who had a Grocery store in the lane.
