- East Street c.1980, Gilfords Bakery, I loved their doughnuts.
- East Street, c 1980. Stock was often displayed high on frames in layers
like this, and probably still is’ and retrieved with a long-hooked rod.

- East Street, a late 18th Century trade ad for a farrier.
Horses were expensive to maintain but essential for
travel and trade. Infections like the painful 'Pole Evil'
would be treated with alcohol or vinegar.

- East Lane, c1970. Mary the peanut seller was well known
down the Lane and sold loose peanuts in brown paper bags,
weighed them from large sacks of Percy Dalton's peanuts.

I think Dennis was related to Tubby Isaacs, hence the name Tubby, maybe someone will let us know.
