George VI Pub was at the far end left on the corner of East Street and Dawes Street.

Girls Life Brigade at Richmond Street Mission (now East Street Baptist Church). Daisy Wilson, back row 4th from the left, was born in 1908, so possibly the 1920s.

I can’t remember where the shop was, but I think Barry had a brother who had a Grocery store in the lane.
