Formerly Salisbury Lane.

Flockton Street between Chambers Street & Bermondsey Wall West. (far end). 2017
In the1930s, it ran from Bermondsey Wall to Abbey Street. now Jamaica Road.

This photo is of Bevington Street, looking south from Bermondsey Wall. (Flockton Street was narrower - the car would have filled it!).

I assume that is the Riverside School on the left in Janeway Street. If it is then I should have picked up on that, lucky one of us is awake. :?

Indeed. The building on the right also survives; it houses an electricity transformer (and possibly already did when the photo was taken), but was previously a stable with a hayloft, a not uncommon repurposing in the London area.

Doe anyone remember the name of the pub that's on the far left of the old Flockton Street photo?
Any pics of that pub would be much appreciated :D :D :D

The George was on the corner with George Row, is that the one :?: Picture in George Row Topic.
As pointed out by Fosney the photo above is Bevington Street.
