BOMBAY STREET

BOMBAY STREET runs between Blue Anchor Lane and Southwark Park Road. Blue Anchor Road I think changed to Southwark Park Road in the early 1900s?

Ahh :) fond memories - In the 1960's I use to play football in Bombay Street with my best friend Derek Suggett who lived in Rock Grove. There was I think an old bomb site area at the Blue Anchor St. end in which we made fires and cooked spuds in silver paper we also let off fireworks in this area on and near the 5th November................
