Albany Road, c1986, the tyre shop on the corner of Calmington Road, not long before closing and demolition to make way for Burgess park. Note the Banfield coach parked outside.

: c1986, this shop was a post office long before it was a tyre depot.

: Albany Road,1981. Looking down at the start of the Burgess park lake project with Cobourg school facing on to it. The tyre shop on the corner and across the road to the left is The Duke of Edinburgh pub.

All demolished in c.1979 and now all under Burgess Park.

I have tried to check this location, no luck, so have gone with what is on the picture but I do have my doubts.
