St Mary's Church - St Marychurch Street, Rotherhithe.
In the church a memorial marks the final resting place of Christopher Jones, captain of the Mayflower, which took the Pilgrim Fathers to North America in 1620.
It is also the burial place of Prince Lee Boo of Palau, a Pacific Island prince.
The organ, built and installed by John Byfield in 1764, is a superb example of 18th century English organ building. Its tonal qualities have been retained to the present day, so that its sound is much as Handel (1685-1759) and his London contemporaries would have heard and appreciated.

Named after Councillor Albert Henley, ex-mayor of Bermondsey, who was killed on 11-05-1941 fighting incendiary bombs that had fallen on the roof of the Bermondsey Town Hall in Spa Road, SE1.

In 1980, Time and Talents took over the Old Mortuary in Rotherhithe that had not been in use since 1965. After suitable renovation, a community centre was established and where an active programme is run that includes an Over 60s Club, an Arts and Crafts Group for the Over 50s, children’s drama, Brownies, a choral society, tai chi and yoga classes, and a neighbourhood care scheme for older people.

"Europa" pub that was at 9, St Marychurch Street junction with Clarkes Orchard. The pub was demolished late 1970's / early 1980's having been built in the 19th century. Its predecessor was opened in 1769, was of timber construction and built very close to if not on, the same spot of the new one, in what was then Old Market Place. The original was burnt down by a police officer, PC Palmer, in 1834 along with many other buildings in Clarkes Orchard. He later committed more arson by burning down the Spread-Eagle pub (now the Mayflower) and adjoining buildings. He was arrested after gutting a collier on the Surrey Canal - all acts committed on beats patrolled by him.

Behind The Ship pub in St Marychurch Street. The Thames-facing Princes Tower (which at some point seems to have been re-named Riverside Apartments), at 97 Rotherhithe Street, and it sits on the site of the old Prince's Wharf and Prince's Stairs. at the start of Elephant Lane.
