The building that stood out to me is St Johns Horsleydown Vicarage, the white building middle left by the railway line, I knew it was there but have never seen it like that.

Hi, Kiwi. I can't work out to which building you refer. St John's had a rectory - it wasn't white and is still standing.

Hi Fogbrain, as you say St John’s is still there, (picture in Fair Street Topic). The church was behind that and is now the site of the London City Mission.
St John Horsleydown was the Anglican parish church of Horsleydown in Bermondsey.
The church built between June 1727 and 1733 in Fair Street, beside the road now known as Tower Bridge Road, just south of the junction with Tooley Street.
Parts of the church remained in use after it was severely damaged by a bomb on 20 September 1940 during the Blitz.
