Gomm Road

Gomm Road Fire Station that stood in Gomm Road behind Rotherhithe Baths from 1875 till closure in 1905. The old baths can be seen to the right of the picture - site of picture confirmed by London Fire Brigade.

GOMM ROAD 2016. A mate (George Owen) lived along here. We use to do Wedding cars together ( 1960s)

Number 36 Gomm Road, Southwark. Richard Carr-Gomm blue plaque, another person who was dedicated to improving the lot of others.
Richard Carr-Gomm (1922 – 2008) was the founder of the Abbeyfield Society and the Carr-Gomm Society, which are British charities providing care and housing for disadvantaged and lonely people.
