The school is now in-between Rotherhithe New Road and Hawkstone Road. In the 1950s I think the entrance may have been in Suffolk Grove, which is no longer there.

I remember this building but just cannot think what or who was in there, can anyone else remember.
- Rotherhithe New Road, Bermondsey. The Railway Bridge and Caine Hill Café to the left.

I don't think I ever knew. The 1941 trade directory lists it as William Harbrow Ltd, builders. Presumably it was the offices with the yard and warehouse behind.

Hi Fogbrain, thanks for that. What a wally I am, this is the firm I worked for when I first left school (1956). I must have been in there several times, plus this also looks like the buildings they use to build.

As far as I can work out, this company, coming from St James Road was on the right past Catlin Street, just past where the Empress of India pub was and before you got to Credon Road.
