Re: George Row
Circled in red the bridge that gave Bridge House its name. Bridge House is possibly the rectangular building to the lower right of the red circle.?

Re: George Row
Hi
Sorry though cant help out with the Greyhound Fame. Hope this helps, I think this pub use to be situated between Sugar Lane and Flockton Street, opposite St Josephs RC School. Think it had a few names before 'The George', one was 'The Blue Anchor' or something similar? But now as usual, its a block of flats!
If you look down the right hand-side of the pub you can just about make out some outside toilets and as school kids we had some fun being chased out of the toilets by the landlord as they were for the punters only!!
Thanks for a great picture, brings back some lovely childhood memories

Hi nuttyboy pat. This is the site of The George pub 2020. As you said between Flockton Street right and Sugar Lane the other side of the building, St Joseph’s RC School is out of the picture left. Cheers Kiwi.
