I’m assuming this is the Great Hall they mean :?:
54 Rotherhithe Evangelical Free Church. This is said to be on the site of the Rotherhithe Hippodrome. The Free Church in Rotherhithe dates from at least the 1880s founded by a Mr. Golding and stood at 46 Lower Road. It was also known as ‘Rotherhithe Great Hall '; although it appears to have been a terrace of three houses. It was damaged in Second World War bombing and demolished.

Merry Cricketers pub (site of). 276, Lower Road, Rotherhithe c2008, at the junction with Bestwood Street (left) and first recorded in 1870. Believed that it ceased trading in the early 1990's. Externally unchanged from 1960.

The Trading Post second-hand furniture store with items for sale on the forecourt. Buildings were later demolished when Lower Road was re-routed to build a roundabout to improve access to the Bermondsey Tunnel, c1976.
