Ten years after moving to Grange Walk, the firm expanded by renting premises at 211 Grange Road, where they had offices and a corn chandlery, selling sacks of grain and flour to the public. Two decades later the chandlery would become Samson’s Castle pub (now converted into flats), so it still had a link to yeast and beer!
