Some pics of the Livesley library on Old Kent Road from 2020, including the statue of the man himself and the original Chaucer Tales mosaics from the Bricklayers ‘ Arms Library. Apparently there was an intact Edgingtons shop front preserved there too for many years but the council had taken it away for storage?

This is 644 Old Kent Road, the same as on the card, possibly the same location but it could be that numbers changed at some time. Around the early 1880's on this corner was a laundry, same building? seems a great looking building for a laundry, today it is a bookie.
- Not sure of he date.
- Old Kent Road, 2021, number 644, Ethnard Road right.
