SOUTHWARK STREET.
Re: SOUTHWARK STREET.
Southwark Street, number 18 bus turning right into Southwark Bridge Road. The sign at the foot of the traffic lights in the foreground prohibits right turns except for buses. 1964.

2021,The building to the left of the white building is the Hilton Hotel, Great Suffolk Street, this is where the old Stevenson & Howell fragrance factory was.
That’s what I call jumping the lights, (Ford Taunus).

Re: SOUTHWARK STREET.
My best guess would be on the corner with Bear Lane.??
Re: SOUTHWARK STREET.
Opposite the Hop Market building but no longer there. To the rear was an alley called Calvert Buildings that came out in the Borough High Street, also in the building was Selmes, Jackson & Gulland, hop factors.
Re: SOUTHWARK STREET.
In 1903 J. Lyons & Co. moved their business to the Hop Exchange and it became known as the Hop Cellers, later as the Lyons Wine Cellars. The firm moved out again in 1972.
