Vinegar Yard ran between St Thomas' Street and Melior Place. In the earlier picture of Melior place (1984), Vinegar Yard came out to the right of the Horseshoe Inn, Rowley Buildings where just down on the right, the white space opposite the Pub. The southern end of the platforms lies under the Rotherhithe tunnel, which passes above.
