fisher club built on the site of hop warehouse owned by wood hanbury bevan 'jackson coxons place st johns estate fair street the old building was 100 yards away in fair street behind devon manshons not sure when it was built must about the seventys hope its of some help elim

the race track was built about 1950 by local lads dont remember street name top riley road

i was born 1940 in elim estate great place great people went to webb street school moved 1946 to st olaves estate then to st johns estate two more great places you never forget bermondsey thank you elim

hi kiwi im elim new member i went to mina road school in 1951 we had to go to cobouge road for woodwork as there wasnt room at mina road the teacher was mr philips sorry about typing first try
