When the factory shut we would climb over the fence and play in the disused factory, so much better than playstation of today, loads more action and true danger !!
If anyone can remember the area was covered with long grass and hundreds of caterpillars.

Were the hording is on the right hand side was the hole in the wall fish & chip shop , but sold Saveloys & Pease pudding best around a real treat. Yellow sign looked so tacky but great.

I remember the high Pavement fish & chip shop well. It was slightly more expensive than anywhere else , as it cooked its chips in dripping they were the best ever. Can you remember the hole in the wall over dunton bridge yellow sign sold fish & chips but notably Saveloy & peas pudding se...

The rose garden in the park, and the swimming pool . That must have been the coldest pool in the world.
Love the kids climbing on the wall , would have got a clip round the ear for that and liked it. No political correct nonsense.

Another cracking film.
Where is the Sasperella Man & the cockle stall. Have you noticed it must be 90% women , interesting. For me Sunday was go down the market day, get Sarsaparilla and then cockles with loads pepper & vinegar and of course lump of bread. Remember !!
