Hi Lesley
Please pass mine and my Brother's deepest condolences on to Carole and her boys. We were very sorry to hear of their loss. Carole knows my Brother Alan and knew his late wife Valerie. Carole passed her condolences to us last year when we lost Valerie.
Kind Regards
Linda
Hi Lesley
Carole informed me only recently of her sad and untimely loss. I grew up in Bermondsey with Lennie, as he was known to his mates, from the late 40’s/ early 50’s, where we raked the streets in the area around his home in Dix’s Place and The Grange, where I lived. He was among my earliest friends. We went to Boucher and Bacon Schools (too young to remember him at Kintore Way Nursery). In later years we drank in the Queen Victoria and The Lord Palmerston (where I met my wife of 43 years). I was best man at his wedding (where I would have met you – all of 7 years old.) Our deepest sympathy goes out to Carole and her family at this difficult time.
Kindest Regards, Jack
Many of you who know Carole (Caroleannefortroad) will know that this is a very difficult time for her with Christmas fast approaching.
On a message from her recently, she says that this is the time she writes and sends her Christmas Cards to her Family and Friends, but she cannot bring herself to sign them with just her name, so decided not to send any.
I'm sure that her true Friends and Family will understand this and give her all the support she needs to get her through this difficult time.
Carole...... My thoughts are with you, Jamie, Matthew and Family.
Steve.
