Keetons Road School

My mother went to Keetons Road School. Here is a photo of a group from her class in the infants, probably taken when she was age 4 in 1926. She is middle, back. The boy to the right of her in the pic was Beni Nemanchinsky (the spelling is a guess). He wore a lace collar, and was rather beautiful, which is probably why my mother remembered him.
From reading some war time stories on the BBC site, Keetons Road School was used as a "Respite Centre" for the displaced, and was destroyed by a German bomb, with 400 people killed.
