Southwark Park Reminiscence Project and Book

Bermondsey and The Friends of Southwark Park have been awarded a grant by the Heritage Lottery Fund to carry out a reminiscence project. The idea is to tell the history of the park in the words of local people. culminating in a book 'Our Park' which will be published this summer.
We want poeple to draw upon their memories of the park to make the tale as rich as possible. We would like to hear from people of all ages, who are willing to write about their memories of Southwark Park and are happy to consider all stories, opinions and reminiscences for inclusion in the book.
