i remember a yank car i think was a cheraplane, my ol man had a pilot and changed it for a vanden plas princess it was black and tan ,looked like a roller. i remember the park , we got thrown out at 6 pm and went back at 7 pm broke in and played cricket with stanley mathews allen clark snotty boris etc . we went to australia in 1958 ,10 pound poms ,and came back in 1962 . and took the crown ph in blackfriars road, i joined the london fire brigade.. ihope this will give you a bit of history to chew over. please keep in touch,i have a lot of memorys of the 50s
