Matthew David Tobin
Hi Nevis
There are two names that ring bells there, but a bit of a long shot.
I think they are a Tony Welling and two of my mates that lived on Harold Estate were Peter and Kevin Collins.
Peter Collins lost an eye when he was young.
Not much help but you never know?

My late Father used to collect British army badges. He had a mate who dealt in militaria from a basement just off New Kent Road (Sorry, no idea of the road) He name was Bill Tobin.
Remember beinbg in there one day and Chris Farlowe came in to buy a german bayonet, apparently he was a collector. I remember I was in my police cadet uniform at the time, so it must have been 1965-66.
Regards, Brian.
Hello Brian.
Bill Tobin was my grandads brother. He dealt in Militaria. His address was 90 Munton Rd.
I am dying to know more about him as I only met him once when grandad died. I don't know why but our families never saw anything of each other. We didn't know any other Tobins accept my grandad Matthew David Tobin who married Ethel Winifred Cronin. So now I want to find out about some of the family I never knew I had. Do you recall anyone knowing who Bill was married to?
On this site there is a picture of a William Tobin marrying Shelia Sullivan, there are Wellings in the family, I know that much. I would love to hear from you.

I couldn't make out the date on the postmark, but the stamp dates from 1912 to 1924, one of the GeorgeV green halfpenny stamps.
Thank you SO much. It was a really nice thing for you to do. What a marvelous postcard!
I am so grateful xxxxxxxxxxx
