Having Trouble uploading Pictures.

Although the Attachment tool should work OK!, It can be a bit tempremental and awkward to edit ie. resize your photo's.

The best way I find is to use a Photo storage site to upload all Photo's, like Photobucket or Youtube, and use the Image Code (IMG Code) to put on Bermondseyboy site.

This way you can see immediatley see the photo and re-size it to suit

These sites are free and you can store all your precious Photo's in one place.

If you have any problems or concerns please let me know.

Thanks
Bermondseyboy

Hi Bermondseyboy, thanks for the tip about Youtube et'c I shall try this next time to view the image first. I made a mess uploading a picture of Riley St School. I wonder is it,s possible to remove  this so that I could upload a better image and the right way up.

 Many Thanks Rod.

Hi Rod

There are several ways we can go here.
You could go to your picture and click on edit, then where attachments are you can remove file, and just attach your picture the right way up.

I could remove your post altogether and you could then redo your new post.
                                         or
I could remove your post and as I have the same picture, I could upload it for you.
Have a go at trying to edit first, if you still have problems let me know and I happy to upload for you.

UPLOADING PHOTO'S METHOD 1. (using attachment)

Go to Upload Files, click and select the File/Photo that you wish to use from your computer.
note: You will not see image on your screen at this time.
Go to submit. The picture should now appear.

If you make a mistake and wish to change your picture, click on edit then at the attachments click on remove then upload files to insert your new picture, then save changes.
Note: Every time you edit your post you will need to remove old image.

UPLOADING PHOTO'S METHOD 2.

If you store your Photo's on Photobucket or a similar Photo storage site, which are free.
You can get the image code for your photo, just copy imgcode then paste it into your post, you will see some text appear, just save and the picture should be there.
Then you can go to edit and resize and add text to your post.

IF YOU HAVE ANY PROBLEMS WITH THIS PLEASE LET ME KNOW

Hi Joe

Sorry to here your having these problems, I know it can get very frustrating at times.
Photobucket or similar is proberly the best way to go.
I would persist in trying to open a free account with them, then you can upload all your photo's and choose to make them for private or public viewing.
To upload from photobucket to this site they must be on public viewing.
If you are having problems Attaching a photo as well, you can send them to me with any text you would like add and I would be happy to post them for you.

If your like me you have proberly been swearing at your computer trying to set your Photobucket account up?
Keep trying
and Good Luck

Steve
(Look forward to hearing from you)

Hi Joe

Have seen Photo, but I cannot edit your Posts? I can only delete them.
I did however copy the photo for enlargement, but unfortunatly the picture is of poor quality and when i try to enlarge, it loses it pixles (becomes blured and unviewable.
Perhaps somewhere there is a larger and better quality photo.?

Sorry I can't be of more help.

Bermondseyboy
